Absorbent Minds

 

Dr Montessori used the term ‘Absorbent Mind’ to describe the unique capacity of the mind during early childhood (birth to 6 years) to absorb knowledge effortlessly and indiscriminately.

The Absorbent Mind is supported through key learning areas such as sensorial, practical life, language, self expression, mathematics & science, cultural appreciation, physical eduaction and social learning.
